East / Gulf Coast Dockworker Strike Update

The International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA), which represents dockworkers at U.S. East Coast and Gulf Coast ports, has announced a strike following a breakdown in contract negotiations.

Currently, our ocean carriers are not experiencing any impact, nor do they expect significant disruptions for services on the West Coast. Our vessels operate exclusively from West Coast ports, where the existing longshore union contract remains in effect until July 1, 2028.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates if necessary. Our commitment to providing timely and dependable service to our customers remains our top priority.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please reach out to your sales executive, local office, or contact our Corporate Customer Service Center at 800-488-4888, Ext. 2020, or email custserv@dhx.com.
