BREAKING ALERT
Subject: Vessel Schedule Changes
Dear Valued Customer,
We have been advised by Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) that as a result of a mechanical issue with Maunawili, reserve vessel R. J. Pfeiffer 540W will sail in its place from Long Beach to Honolulu on Wednesday, May 22, to keep Hawaii-destined cargo on schedule. R.J. Pfeiffer 540W will omit Guam and Naha on this voyage.
To maintain the steady flow of goods from the U.S. West Coast distribution centers, cargo destined to Guam, Naha, and Micronesia will be accepted on R.J. Pfeiffer but will be transshipped in Honolulu to Lurline 081W, resulting in an arrival delay of one week to its final destination.
Similarly, cargo shipping to Guam, Naha, and Micronesia from Tacoma and Oakland on Mahimahi 511W will also be transshipped to Lurline 081W in Honolulu and will also be delayed by one week.
To help circumvent this, Customers are welcome to advance Guam, Naha, and Micronesia cargo to Manulani 217W sailing out of Oakland on 5/14 and Matsonia 053W sailing out of Long Beach on 5/15.
Rest assured, our island trucking operations will be working diligently to expedite the handling of your shipments and minimize any additional delay. We will continue to monitor this and update you as needed.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and continued business.
