Fuel Related Surcharge Increase – Hawaii / Guam / Micronesia

Since reducing their Fuel Surcharge on July 30th, there has been a consistent and substantial increase in marine fuel prices. As a result, Matson increased its Fuel Surcharge by four percent, effective yesterday, October 15, 2023.

The surcharge for Hawaii service will increase from 37% to 41%. Guam/CNMI service will increase from 38% to 42%, and Micronesia service will increase from 42% to 46%.  


Maui Strong

Our thoughts and prayers remain with our Ohana and everyone affected by the devastating Maui wildfires as we continue to wish for a speedy recovery.

Maui is constantly reevaluating its needs as time goes on. If you would like to donate, please see the list of foundations below. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide you with updates for support.
