Subject: Fuel Related Surcharge Increase – Hawaii / Guam / Micronesia

Dear Valued Customer:

Since reducing their Fuel Surcharge on July 30th, there has been a consistent and substantial increase in marine fuel prices. As a result, Matson will increase its Fuel Surcharge by four percent, effective October 15, 2023.

The surcharge for Hawaii service will increase from 37% to 41%. Guam/CNMI service will increase from 38% to 42%, and Micronesia service will increase from 42% to 46%.
