Holiday Schedules

The offices listed below will be closed for the holidays as follows:

Please remember that certain offices are across the International Dateline. The dates above are their dates, not the actual U.S. date.

DHX–Dependable Hawaiian Express Labor Day Holiday Cut Offs

⮚      Out of Southern California – The cutoff for Hawaii non-hazardous freight to sail Wednesday, September 6, will be Tuesday, September 5, by 5:00 pm PST. We will not be sailing hazardous freight for Hawaii on Wednesday, September 6. The hazardous freight received on Friday, September 1, and Tuesday, September 5, by 5:00 pm PST will sail Saturday, September 9. The cutoff for Guam non-hazardous freight will be Friday, September 1, by 5:00 pm PST, and the cutoff for Guam hazardous freight will be Thursday, August 31, by 5:00 pm PST for sail Wednesday, September 6.

⮚      Out of Northern California – The cutoff for the Hawaii and Guam for hazardous and non-hazardous will be Thursday, August 31, by 3:30 pm PST for sail Tuesday, September 5. The cutoff for hazardous freight must be dropped off by 12:00 pm PST on Tuesday, September 5, and non-hazardous freight must be dropped off by 3:30 pm PST on Tuesday, September 5, for sail Wednesday, September 6.

⮚      Out of Seattle – There will be no disruption to our regular cutoff schedule.

Labor Day Holiday Port Schedule and Gate Hours

Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) has announced Labor Day is a no-work holiday for select U.S. ports on the West Coast, Hawaii, and Guam. All Matson terminals will be closed on the U.S. Mainland and in Hawaii and Guam on Monday, September 4, 2023.

All cut-offs for West Coast departures remain unchanged.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with our Ohana and everyone affected by the devastating Maui wildfires as we continue to wish for a speedy recovery.

Maui is constantly reevaluating its needs as time goes on. If you would like to donate, please see the list of foundations below. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide you with updates for support.

●      Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (Kaik'o Maui Fund) - The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, Alakaina Foundation Family, and Kako’o Haleakala will match up to $100,000 in donations for Kako’o Maui.

●      Aloha United Way (Maui Fire Relief Fund)

●      Hawaii Foodbank
