Subject: Maui Wildfires

Dear Valued Customer:

As you may be aware, strong winds from the passing of Hurricane Dora escalated a wildfire on the island of Maui. The wildfire has and continues to cause widespread devastation on the island as it continues to burn uncontained. The only lines of defense are on land as the severity of the constant winds has not allowed for any support via aircraft.

In addition to several road closures, communications to the most impacted part of the island have been disrupted. Our Maui Terminal remains open pending fire-related weather and road conditions. Delivery service and access to Lahaina, Ka’anapali, and the active fire areas are suspended. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide you with updates.

Our thoughts remain with our Ohana and everyone affected by the wildfires as we wish for quick containment and a speedy recovery.
